"The Covenant Song" by Caedmon's Call
- I will do everything within my being to seek God daily in His Word and through prayer, before I enter my day. I will also help my wife to see the benefit of a daily personal worship time. I will admit or confess when I fail to my mentor and will be repentant and without
excuse.
- I will do everything within my being to read the Word of God daily with my wife and have a time of worship with her.
- I will pray with my kids daily and teach them God's Word.
- I will complete my book (chapter) readings on time and in the order my mentor asks me.
- I will pray for my brothers in Christ and stand with them, Shoulder to Shoulder (Ez. 22:30, Zeph. 3:9).
- I will resolve any and all conflict with my mentor by contacting Michael for mediation if the problem can not be resolved
between the disciple/mentor. Nonetheless, I will always yield to The Round Table's
(Shoulder to Shoulder's governing body) final decision, without question or futher meditation.
- I will, at all costs (even cancellation of t.v. or internet if so deemed by your mentor), stay pure and abstain from
all types of sexual immorality (internet, magazines, t.v., movies, relationships) according to I Thessalonians 4:3-8. If I fail, I will confess my failure to my mentor and repent without excuse.
- I will meet with my mentor weekly until Phase IV whereafter I will call my mentor at least bi-weekly for accountability,
prayer and counsel (your mentor may arrange or cancel meetings as he has need).
- I fully understand all of these resolutions and will follow them lest I be disciplined
by the council.

5:1 Guard your steps as you go to the house of God, and draw near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice
of fools; for they do not know they are doing evil. 2 Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring
up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.
3 For the dream comes through much effort, and the voice of a fool through many words. 4 When you make a
vow to God, do not be late in paying it, for [He takes] no delight in fools. Pay what you vow! 5 It is better
that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay. 6 Do not let your speech cause you to sin and do
not say in the presence of the messenger [of God] that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry on account of your voice
and destroy the work of your hands? 7 For in many dreams and in many words there is emptiness. Rather, fear God.
